OrderUGC vs AI UGC tools
Last checked against their public website on October 21, 2026
AI UGC tools generate a video of an AI avatar reading your script, often holding an image of your product. Type a script, pick an avatar, and a video renders in minutes. OrderUGC films a real actor holding your real product at our studio, from a script our team writes and you approve.
Which one fits depends on what the video has to show.

When an AI tool is the better fit
- You want dozens of hook variations to test, cheaply.
- You need the same script in many languages.
- You need a video today, not next week.
- The product doesn't physically exist yet.
When a filmed video is the better fit
- The video has to show your product being held, opened or used.
- Your label, logo or packaging has to read clearly in every frame.
- You don't want an AI label next to your ad, or a disclosure under it.
- You want a person on screen who has actually tried the product.
Why this matters for product video
Hands touching objects and text on packaging are the two things video models find hardest, and a product demo is made of both. Filmed, not generated explains the four ways AI product video goes wrong, the platform labels, and what California's SB 1050 requires.
Questions
- Are AI UGC tools cheaper than OrderUGC?
- Per video, yes, usually by a lot. Our $199 covers a real actor, your real product, filming, editing and a script you approve.
- Can an AI avatar hold my product?
- Many tools place your product in the avatar's hand from a photo you upload. Nobody has actually held it, so weight, texture and how it opens can't be shown, and labels can warp.
- Will my AI-generated ad be labeled?
- It can be. TikTok requires a disclaimer on AI-generated ad media, Meta can show an "AI info" label next to "Sponsored," and YouTube requires creators to disclose realistic AI content.
- Do I need an AI disclosure on an OrderUGC video?
- No. Our actors are real people, so AI labels and California's synthetic performer disclosure don't apply.
- Can I use both?
- Yes. Plenty of brands test hooks with AI and film the winners with real people. Ours can be the filmed half.
