Privacy policy

This explains what information OrderUGC collects, what we do with it and the choices you have. OrderUGC is run by Envy Creative ("we", "us"). We don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

Account details: your email address and, if you add them, your name, company, phone number and photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google.
Order details: your brief, product links, scripts, messages in your order chat, and the files you send us or we deliver.
Payment details: Stripe processes your card. We see the payment's status and amount, never your full card number.
Email: replies you send to our emails are added to your order chat.
Help chat and contact form: what you type, so we can answer it.
Usage: pages you visit and how you use the site, through cookies and Google Analytics.

How we use it

To make and deliver your videos, and to talk to you about your orders.
To take payment and keep records we're required to keep.
To send email about your orders, your account and your plan. If you subscribe, we may also send product updates, and every one has a link to stop them.
To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages are useful.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run OrderUGC, and only what each one needs:

Stripe, for payments.
Cloudflare, which hosts the site and stores files, and routes our email.
Our email delivery provider, which sends our emails, and an email verification service, which checks that an address can receive mail before we send to it.
File hosting and backup providers, where order files are stored after 30 days.
Google, for sign-in with Google and for Google Analytics.
An AI model provider, which answers questions typed into the help chat. Don't put anything private in the help chat.

We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our actors and our customers.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and, with Google Analytics, to understand which pages people actually read. Your browser also stores a few preferences on your device, like light or dark mode. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in won't work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and order history while your account is open, and the records we're required to keep for tax and accounting after that.

Order files are kept in our own storage for 30 days, then moved to longer-term storage. We also keep a backup copy of every file for up to ten years, so a delivered video can be recovered if you lose it.

Your choices and rights

You can update your account details in Settings. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, and we'll do so unless we need to keep something by law or to complete an order. Deleting files from long-term storage and backups is done by hand, so it can take a little longer.

If you live in California, you have the rights the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you, including to know, delete and correct your information, and not to be treated differently for using them. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that law defines it.

To make a request, use the chat or contact form in the help center, or ask in your order chat. We may need to confirm it's you first.

Children

OrderUGC is a service for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell account holders by email. Our terms of service cover ordering and using your videos.
